After the last elections that took place on November 20, Spain has a new government of the Popular Party led by Mariano Rajoy.
Yesterday, Maria Dolores de Cospedal (current president of her party in Castilla La Mancha) has given the announcement at the press conference, when she finished the meeting with the steering committee of the PP, which are going to be the upcoming events of the Popular Party:
- On December 13 the new courts will be formed: Congress and Senate, according to the votes from November 20
- On December 20 and 21 there will be celebrated in the Congress of Deputies the investment of the new president of the government
- On December 22: The constitution of the government will be published: which people occupy what charges
- On December 23: The first meeting of the Council of Ministers will be held
As we can see, the Popular Party calendar will be full of events, which is absolutely normal at the time of celebrating a change of government.
She explained that they want to carry out these procedures in the shortest time, in order to be able to form parliamentary groups as soon as possible.
